Born of Star Dust

A study of the body remembering.

Through intuitive movement, it returns to relation with land, rhythm, and time.

Photographed across ancient landscapes in India with Andrea Cardenas, the series follows a subtle exchange between the human and the more-than-human, moving through cycles of emergence, preservation, dissolution, illusion, awareness and release.

Part of wider work ‘Arriving Nowhere’.

that which is

does not ask who we are

only how long    we remain

     still             before returning to dust

  present      before mind names form

     as stone becomes landscape

the body, less certain

              a quiet undoing of shape

perception, hallucinates

the self

     dissolving

softening

into what never left
